Process reflection in poetry (changes in time, space, inner experience) are in deepest connection with process philosophy. It tends to express the dynamic nature of being, pattern of changes and our place within. We experience our world and ourselves as continuously changing, and poets are, in a way, more sensitive to that fact than philosophers. Nevertheless, they started to express it explicitly only in the beginning of the 20th century, when the turbulence of the world transformations had become too intense. Process poetry is concerned with the dynamic sense of being as becoming or occurrence, the conditions of spatio-temporal existence, the kinds of dynamic entities, the relationship between mind and the world, and the realization of values in action. Taking basic entities of our world as processes provides a better way to descriptively express all kinds of notions that we find hard to describe as entities: emotions, feelings, symbols, etc. Russia was no exception in that process of poetic transformation, and in order to understand it, we need to refer not even to the Golden Age of Russian poetry, but to the Silver Age.
