Lithium-ion batteries (LIB) have attracted much interest in recent years. Their applications in electronic devices have urged continuous research among the scientific community. Li-ion batteries used in hybrid-electric vehicle or electric vehicle applications must be charged and discharged rapidly; therefore, the electrodes must perform at a high rate and maintain excellent capacity and reliable cycle-life stability.Olivine phosphate materials combined with mixed transition-metal ions, such as LiFe1−xMnxPO4/C, have recently attracted considerable attention.
