We study laser acceleration of electrons in plasma on the surface of dense solid target. One of the problems is the interpretation of experimental data,as real experimental conditions include complex geometry, and various physical processes taking place. This renders analytical approach difficult at best. Numerical calculation, on the other hand, is sensitive to neither the physics,nor the geometry involved. Application of the modified Geant4 Monte-Carlo code allowed for optimization of an existing experimental scheme for accelerated electron beam spectrum measurement
