Аннотация доклада:
We present a possible approach for the numerical assessment of snow avalanche contribution to accumulation at mountain glaciers and our first results obtained in the Tien Shan and the Caucasus. The developed approach consists of the following steps: terrain (DEM) analysis; available meteorological data analysis; snow avalanches volume assessment during the analyzed balance year; numerical simulation of snow avalanches using RAMMS; evaluation of snow avalanches contribution into a glacier accumulation.
