Аннотация доклада:
This paper presents the results of an investigation into diamonds (>200 crystals examined), garnets, spinels, ilmenites, pyroxenes and olivines from 3 kimberlite fields of the Arkhangelsk diamondiferous province. The results show that the characteristics of the diamonds and their accompanying minerals change from one field to another according to the depth of formation of their corresponding kimberlite melts.
