The problem of concepts and notions’ differentiation has become one of the most important issues in conceptual studies in cognitive linguistics. In these terms special interest present political cultural notions such as ‘democracy”, “patriotism”, “freedom”, “multiculturalism”, characterized by stable logical structure and linguistically represented as political and cultural terms in the proper sense of the word.Thus, while considering lingual-mental structures of this kind in terms of their conceptual status, it should be noted that the difference lies not only in the stylistic sphere of their linguistic representations’ realization, but also in the mode of their pragmatic and communicative interpretation, that to a great extent depends on the speaker’s or writer’s political and evaluative preferences. At the same time it should be emphasized that the borderline between these two types of conceptual representations is in most cases subtle and movable, which is reflected on the level of their linguistic reverberation.
