The gallides of Ru and rare-earth (RE) elements with a high content of the latter are mainly studied for RE = Ce and La [1]. Such compounds exhibit extremely interesting physicochemical properties. Compounds with other rare-earth elements have not been studied, although the indides of Ru and rare-earth elements are known and possess curious properties at low temperatures [2-4]. In the region with a high content of rare-earth, compounds with a ratio of 4–2–3 were obtained for the series RE = Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Er. Compounds of this composition are not formed in other RE-Ru-X systems (X = Al, In; RE = La, Ce). All compounds of the RE4Ru2Ga3 series crystallize in a new type of structure in a monoclinic cell, sp. gr. C2, with the parameters presented in the table.
