Аннотация доклада:
After short account of highly mythologized ancient and early medieval history of Kashmir information on the nowadays situation in the state is given. It is shown that there exist the three separate ethnic-religious-linguistic zones in Kashmir: the Southern, the Central and the Nothern. The specific features of each of them are analized in the paper.
