The subject of the present paper is interdisciplinary approach application in the course of teaching languages. One of the most important problems within these lines deals with the language-culture dichotomy, which presupposes that both universal and culturally specific phenomena should be taken into consideration while teaching languages. Each level of language assessment is characterized by its own degree of understanding and acquiring knowledge concerning regulations and values of a certain national cultural society speaking the language in question. Cultural concepts can be regarded as mental structures in which peculiarities of a certain culture are reflected and preserved including specific codes of behavior and human activities as well as value-oriented models of the world perception. The abilities of concepts’ translation into other cultures are determined by their content presented via certain linguistic means on the level of language, where semantics plays the most significant role
