  The Wisconsin Russia Project make a two-day conference with young scholars in the social sciences with a focus on contemporary Russia. The conference held at the Pyle Center at UW-Madison on June 2-3, 2022. Papers in the following five thematic areas will be presented: 1) education, labor markets, and inequality; 2) law and society; 3) political economy; 4) identity, place, and migration; and 5) demographic change. The conference gives young scholars an opportunity to present their work and receive feedback from senior scholars and will be an excellent opportunity to hear and engage with exciting new research on Russia.
