Calcium is in the heart of platelet's activation. Different agonists induce calcium release from intracellular stores, which results in various answers of the cell. Weak activation results in irregular calcium spiking while strong activation leads to the sustained elevation of the cytoplasmic calcium. Here we present a kinetic mathematical model of calcium signaling in platelet, which comprises calcium exchange between several compartments of the cell and includes store-operated calcium entry system. The model allows correct description of calcium concentration pattern for normal activation and shows that for strong activation the platelet, if alive, will have not sustained elevation but very frequent oscillations of calcium concentration
