  At the Seminar, the results will be discussed, which have been obtained by the French and Russian scientists in the field of the synthesis and physical and chemical study of organic photochromism, namely: -design and synthesis of new thermally relaxing and thermally irreversible photochromic organic compounds: -fundamental, experimental and theoretical studies of photochromic systems; -nanostructured and supramolecular photochromic systems; -photochromic systems with different functional properties (magnetic, optical linear and non-linear, photomechanical, thermochromic, solvatochromic, electrochemical, compexation with metal ions); -photochromic systems for optical memory and processing of optical information; photochromic systems for biological application.
